Water system update 1/26/26

1/26/26 UPDATE

Thankfully Richard and Jason, with their advanced preparation and follow up have been able to keep the system up. However, the system is stressed to meet the demands caused by power outages, constant dripping by members, broken homeowner pipes. Please help us all by reducing dripping to when only needed and turn off the valve to your house if you have broken pipes. If you don't have a seperate cutoff valve, you may turn the water off at the meter with adjustable wrench or pliers. If you can't accomplish, please ask a neighbor for help or call Richard, Elaine or me.Our backup systems were not designed for long duration power outages and sub freezing temperatures.
